With each domain name purchased, you have the option to set up a
number of email accounts for employers and employees. There is also
an email control panel which enables the user to manage his own
accounts.
Additional Facilities include:
Pop 3 Email Accounts
Each POP3 account you create has its own login and password. This
allows you to provide POP3 accounts to people you know and those
in your organization. POP3 accounts can be checked via any e-mail
client and even from a web-based e-mail program.
Mail Forwarders
Your account includes unlimited
e-mail forwarding. E-mail forwarding is used to forward mail sent
to anything@lynxtech.net to a real POP3 e-mail account. E-mail sent
to any address @lynxtech.net can be forwarded to any e-mail address
you specify. Mail forwarders can serve many purposes!
Catchall Forwarding
From this menu, you can choose
between a "Catch-All" POP3 account or a "Fallover" POP3 account.
Below is a description of each option. Catch-All POP3:
This POP3 account will receive any and all incoming messages sent
to anything@lynxtech.net,
including e-mail sent to specific POP3 mail accounts.
Fallover POP3:
This POP3 account will receive only incoming messages sent to addresses
@lynxtech.net that do not have POP3 accounts or mail forwarders
setup for these particular addresses.
Autoresponders
Each autoresponder you create will
automatically respond to all incoming e-mail with a message you
specify. The message sent back to the original sender may be a plain
text message or HTML enhanced.
Autoresponders can be very handy when distributing specific information,
acknowledging receipt of incoming e-mail, or notifying people that
you are on vacation. You can have a POP3 account that is also an
autoresponder so that you will receive all the messages sent to
the e-mail address but also be able to automatically reply to e-mail
with a specific message.
Mail Blocks
Mail blocks
allow you to filter incoming e-mail based on "rules" you set. For
example, you can block e-mail coming from joe@hotmail.com. Additionally,
you can even block an entire domain name, such as any e-mail coming
from abc.com.
With each rule, you can do one of two things. First, you can simply
delete all incoming e-mail that matches any of the rules you have
specified. Secondly, you can forward any messages that match particular
rules to other e-mail addresses. For example, you could set a rule
that says that if you receive an e-mail from joe@yahoo.com, forward
the message to you@lynxtech.net.
You are allowed to setup an unlimited number of e-mail blocks on
your account.
